Hi-Fi Choice Network Purifier review
Friday, 11th July 2025
Following two excellent reviews from Audiograde and HiFi Pig, HiFi Choice has given their verdict on our Network Purifier ethernet filter.

True to form, the review starts with an overview of the product, what it does and why. Starting with the ‘why?’, the reviewer asserts that digital audio is no more immune from noise that its analogue sibling, mobile and Wi-Fi networks being two of the worst culprits. The eight MiniZap filters found inside the Network Purifier are designed to target the frequency range (2-4GHz) “where this noise is typically produced”, he notes.
To test the efficacy of the filter, he installs it between his network switch and the Cambridge Audio Azur 851N which provides his streamed music feed. In this case, he starts with his own 16-bit/192kHz WAV file of I Forgot Santa Monica by Binker Golding.

“the double bass at the start of the piece appears to emerge from a blacker background with the Purifier installed”.
Similarly, the saxophone became clearer in the mix, and its positioning in the room relative to the other instruments was more pronounced.

In conclusion, he reports that the Network Purifier does its job admirably, delivering “noticeable audible improvements” with digital music sources.
