About Silver Streak

Type G shown above

Silver Streak offers a major step up in performance from the PBJ DIN interconnect thanks to the use of high purity silver conductors. It uses the legendary woven cable geometry and benefits from Kimber's highest purity VariStrand™ copper and silver along with fluorocarbon dielectric insulation.

Depending on the cable Type, our Silver Streak DIN interconnects utilise either a Three or Four wire braid of Silver Streak. Four- wire feature two strands of AGSS silver and two strands of TCSS copper (read more about TCSS here). Three-wire braid features a single strand of AGSS silver and two strands of TCSS copper. Providing a smooth, rich, wide open sound with dynamic range and pacing way beyond the asking price, Silver Streak is a true audiophile bargain that can satisfy even the most demanding music lover.

Have Quad equipment?
This will also work for QUAD equipment, such as from a FM3 to an amplifier with phono inputs and older B&O equipment.

What is CD overload and Attenuation?

Even with matched equipment from the same manufacturer, it is all too common for an amplifier's performance to be restricted because the output voltage of the CD player or streamer is too high. This can introduce distortion to the sound and restricts the amount of volume control you have. The problem can also occur with other components too, such as DVD/Blu-ray players, tuners, SACD players, MiniDisc players and even, on occasion, turntables!

The solution is to use an interconnect which 'attenuates' the signal from the CD player allowing a much more controlled and better sound from your system.
