    Ringmat has launched a new version of their popular CDi Blue Statmat for CD. This new CD mat works like the old version to reduce static and improve sound quality – most notably bass performance and musicality – but features improvements which raise its performance.

    CDi Blue Plus is similar in its construction to the old model: two single Statmats separated by a very thin polyester substrate; however Ringmat have cut the lower statmat differently and the way the two mats are attached to the substrate has been improved. The big difference, though, is the way Statmat connects to the CD or DVD you attach it to; the new model features a re-peelable adhesive collar which firms locks the Statmat in place on the disc when playing and loading. It means the Statmat performs better: the sound is firmer and with a bigger soundstage than the original Statmat CDi Blue.

    The collar also means that the Statmat lasts longer and will not slip when loading into your player. Please note that the Statmat is not suitable for slot loading CD players.

    The Statmat is essential, if you want to get the most from your CDs. It offers a more solid and detailed delivery, and everything just sounds better.

    "Awesome Upgrade For Little Cash"
    I have had my ring mat for a few years now, When i purchased this i was to say the least sceptical, How can this improve the sound, I have to say i can not place any Cd in to my player with out the Statmat. This is not a subtle sonic improvement, The Sound is just more coherent, bass tighter, detail improved better stereo image, all this from a £45 upgrade, Im leaving this review now as i am about to replace my old mat for a new one, i simply can not listen to CD without this Statmat. i dont think you can achieve a sonic upgrade for less, and i have many of Russ Andrews products' cable power block, filters, this is my favourite upgrade as it cost very little. I would urge you to get one on a 60 day trial and say you have not heard the benefits.
